US Travel Association IPW Architectural Lighting Design and Large Format Video

The US Travel Association’s IPW Visit San Antonio event required a large scale production plan spanning the downtown area for several days. This event production plan included IPW architectural lighting design for several iconic San Antonio buildings such as The Grand Hyatt, Marriott Riverwalk, and Tower of The Americas.  Travelers from over sixty countries enjoyed displays of San Antonio’s creative culture using our large format professional video and event lighting systems.

Outdoor Lighting Design

LD Systems event lighting designers created a unique lighting plan for each downtown location that included lighting tower structures safely deployed on surface streets in optimal locations for sky high lighting effects while maintaining a minimal footprint.  Static wash and moving lighting fixtures capable of creating colorful blends and high resolution graphical patterns were used creatively to highlight each locations cultural significance and custom controlled by our event lighting technicians to create city wide outdoor lighting experience.

Outdoor Video Projection

LD Systems professional video technicians deployed truss structures to house multiple large video projectors that created a single seamless large format video image projecting content onto building surfaces.   Video projection allows for and endless array of dynamic creative content choices and video animations. Using video projection in particular locations allowed for event planners grater flexibility for creative control.
