The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo showcases LD Systems complete rodeo event production services and audio visual technical support

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) has committed over $450 million to the youth of Texas since 1932 and draws more than two million people each year to NRG Park. LD Systems Production Services and Systems Integration Teams work together to make HLSR and RodeoHouston a destination event for every visitor. We provide Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo event production services, stadium audio, concert lighting, HD video screens, custom truss structures, rigging equipment, expert technical crews and logistics support throughout all of NRG Park for the entire month surrounding the event.

Texas Sized Star Stage Design

The new custom concert stage was designed and fabricated by TAIT with technical support from LD Systems. The star shaped stage utilizes vertical motion control for the star point stage sections and has a rotating center stage section. Another brand new feature is the backdrop truss structure that supports hundreds of moving lights and motion controlled LED video modules that can be configured into a variety of video display shapes and patterns.

Stadium Live Sound Design

Utilizing the latest technology for live audio, LD Systems audio engineers collaborated with L-Acoustics to design and deploy one of the world’s largest stadium sound systems. The live sound system is comprised of over 400 L-Acoustics speaker enclosures powered by a combination of LA12X and LA8 amplifiers on LA Net using the full capabilities of our K1, K2, K1-SB, KARA and ARCSII line arrays to evenly cover the stadium’s giant acoustical space.

Stadium Concert Lighting Design

LD Systems lighting designers deploy a wide arrangement of over 1000 event lighting fixtures creating remarkable atmospheres and spectacular lighting performances for the nightly RodeoHouston concerts. We also support conventional lighting for many areas including the outdoor concert stages, livestock judging performance arenas, and inside the NRG Center AgVenture educational experience areas.

HD Video Screens and Digital Signage

HD video content is displayed in the stadium above the main stage and lighting truss using high resolution 5mm LED video walls.  LD Systems video technicians deploy each video screen to provide an immersive video experience for every audience member. Traditional LED high definition video displays, outdoor video screens and digital projector installations support several areas inside the NRG Center and around NRG Park.

LD Systems Tier 1 Technicians Provide Professional AV Support

LD Systems has helped make HLSR and RodeoHouston a marvelous and memorable experience for everyone.
