LD Systems provides a complete sound system installation
for The Woodlands United Methodist Church’s new Harvest Worship Center
The Harvest Worship Center is a new extension to The Woodlands United Methodist Church campus offering a contemporary service of upbeat praise and worship for those who are looking for a more relaxed and informal style of worship. The Harvest Worship Center is an integral part of The Woodlands United Methodist Church and requires multiple state of the art AV systems to operate successfully. The LD Systems team was proud to be chosen as the sound system installation contractor for the audio system designed by Idibri, L-Acoustics and The Woodlands United Methodist Church.
The audio speaker system consists of a combination of flown and floor supported L-Acoustics speaker systems. The flown system consists of Kara line arrays, 12XTi fill cabinets and SB28 subwoofers. The floor supported system consists of SB15 subwoofers and 5XT front fill boxes installed in custom baffles by LD Systems. L-Acoustics LA8 and LA4x amplifiers drive the audio system.
At front of house, LD Systems installed a new Digico SD8 Digital Mixing Console and a Source rack housing new Shure ULX-D Wireless receivers. The new console and wireless microphone system give the church added flexibility to configure the system for the varying types of worship services and performances. Audio processing and routing is handled by BSS Soundweb London and L-Acoustics. Distributed audio is also provided for the lobby and backstage areas.
Our systems integration team ensured that the new worship center’s audio system would exceed the technical demands of today’s contemporary worship leaders and serve the worship community with awesome audio.
