LD Systems Teams Up with Rice University for the design and installation of new Hybrid Learning Environments
LD Systems has been in the process of designing and consulting with Rice University to develop an AV System for a distance-based, in-person or remote learning experience. In coordination with Rice University, LD Systems has worked with various contractors to convert multiple 75′ X 50′ temporary structures into socially distanced classroom settings for the upcoming fall semester courses that will follow COVID-19 Protocols. These systems include large format video projection solutions, a multiple-camera streaming solution to engage remote students, a distributed speaker system and a simple control interface for the instructors. This project is underway and will be ready for the August 2020 semester start.
