Integrated Announcement Control System for IAH Terminal B South

Significant growth in the City of Houston and George Bush Intercontinental Airport led to the recent expansion and construction of a new terminal concourse with gates operated by United Airlines. IAH selected LD Systems as their AV company to develop and install a massive integrated overhead audio announcement control system that allows for zoned paging and background music to be evenly distributed through the terminal. This included differing speaker configurations and installations in special ceiling areas to ensure complete coverage of the entire terminal

Because of the sensitive secure computer areas and high security regulations for American airports IAH needed an AV company with expertise in integrating new systems into existing high security I.T. infrastructures.
