Smooth Sailing for Carnival Cruise Lines
LD systems designed, built and installed an elaborate digital signage and media communications system primarily directed to provide a wonderful customer experience at Carnival Cruise ship terminals. We have deployed this solution for Carnival Cruise Lines in three United States terminals: Port Miami, Florida, Port Canaveral, Florida and the Port of Galveston right here in Texas.
An intricate employee controlled digital signage display system includes way-finding, boarding and baggage queuing information which keeps travelers well-informed and moving smoothly throughout the terminals. LD Systems engineers designed a ticket agent queuing control system allowing for over-the-counter display updates and zoned boarding announcement capabilities. We also developed a distributed entertainment system with targeted media feeds to terminal areas. Our design allows passengers in waiting areas can relax and enjoy television programming as well as stay completely informed on the same displays .
LD Systems worked closely with port terminal I.T. managers and security officials to a perform several hardware installations in secure server room data centers and to incorporate new system software into a high security infrastructure.
