LD Systems dispatched eleven crew members from both its Houston and San Antonio offices along with 7 trucks of audio & lighting gear to manage the highly technical needs of this years Austin City Limits Music Festival. The festival ran for three days from September 23 thru 25 and was held at Zilker Park in Austin Texas. Production services were provided for the SBC, Cingular and AMD stages and event artists included Coldplay , Wide Spread Panic, Wilco, Oasis, Allman Brothers ...to name just a few!

On the AMD stage LD provided lighting 3 technicians,moving lights, lighting specials, signage lighting and a 120K lighting system on a uniquely designed trussing structure.

On both the SBC and Cingular stages where LD provided all audio needs fielded by four technicians per stage utilizing mostly EV line array speaker systems, featuring LAKE Contour processing and Midas consoles. Both stages were scaled for 45,000 people and crowds swelled to 60,0000 during Coldplay's closing set at the end of the festival.
