Wide shot of the set during Dan Bellows' opening remarks.

Walk-in look with slow moving lights. The lighting rig consisted
of ten moving lights and thirty theatrical lights on the circular
truss
and four moving lights around the stage. Additionally, six color-changing
lights illuminated the fiber optic curtain.

One of the panel discussion looks.

What went into the technical installation:

This shows the construction of the set on the day before. The
star-shaped fabric (nicknamed "Patrick" after the cartoon
starfish) will be suspended from the forty-foot diameter circular
truss
shown above. The circular truss was connected to three forty-foot
truss sections that were then suspended from chain hoists rigged
in the ballroom ceiling. The
fiber optic curtain was attached to an eighty-foot truss that
was supported by manually operated Genie towers shown near the
back
airwall. The projection screens and run-off drape were then attached
to two additional forty-foot sections of truss.
